Placement Services: Serving Families Across Canada
We support families across Canada through our caregiver recruitment and placement model.
Our placement services are available to families across all provinces and territories in Canada and are designed for those seeking long-term, ongoing, temporary, live-in, or consistent household and caregiving support. We assist families in finding suitable caregivers, nannies, household support staff, and non-medical support providers based on their unique needs, schedule, location, and budget.
Clients may submit placement requests directly through their secure client portal, or families may choose a more hands-off approach by providing our team with a detailed briefing of their household needs and preferences. In such cases, our team will manage the placement request and candidate sourcing process on the family’s behalf.
Once a request is received, our team begins advertising and broadcasting opportunities across our job boards and recruitment platforms to attract, screen, and shortlist qualified candidates for families to review. Families are presented with carefully selected candidates that align as closely as possible with their preferences and expectation
Once a successful match is made, families directly employ and manage the caregiver independently. Clients are responsible for directly paying and managing the caregiver after hiring.
Families will receive access to a secure client portal where screened and qualified candidates are shared for review. Clients may accept or decline candidates based on their preferences and can select their preferred candidates to proceed with interviews or meet-and-greet sessions before making a final hiring decision.

Understanding Placement Types & Agency Placement Fees
Placement service fees are a one-time non-refundable payment made to Plum Wings Family Care Co. for recruitment, screening, matching, and caregiver placement services. The placement fee is separate from the caregiver’s ongoing wages or salary, which will be paid directly by the client after a successful placement.
Payment Structure
• A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the placement fee is required before Plum Wings Family Care Co. can begin the caregiver recruitment and candidate sourcing process.
• The remaining 50% balance becomes due after eligible candidate profiles have been presented to the client.
• Please note that candidate personal information, direct contact details, or introductions will not be released until the full placement fee balance has been paid.
• Once full payment has been received, meetings/interviews can then be scheduled between the client and shortlisted candidates selected by the client.
