Care with Purpose
Plum Wings Family Care Co. was born from both professional experience and deeply personal need.
I’m Omolola Kolawole, Founder of Plum Wings Family Care Co. With academic training in Human Nutrition and several years of experience working within the home healthcare sector as a Care Coordinator and Care Access Representative, I witnessed firsthand how important dependable support systems are for families during vulnerable seasons of life.
But Plum Wings became personal long before it became a business.
Following a difficult pregnancy, preterm delivery, emergency surgery, and postpartum recovery while caring for young children without nearby family support, I experienced firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate life without trusted help.
While searching for caregiving support online, I quickly realized how emotionally exhausting and difficult it was to find safe, dependable, and properly screened care.
That experience inspired the creation of Plum Wings Family Care Co.
Today, we provide trusted non-medical in-home support thoughtfully tailored to families across different stages of life — including postpartum and newborn care, childcare support, respite care, companionship, household assistance, and family support services.
At Plum Wings, we are infusing the knowledge and coordination experience gained from the home healthcare sector into non-medical home care because we believe dependable support systems are essential safety nets that help families feel supported, stable, and cared for at every age and stage of life.
