Agency-Coordinated Services: Serving Edmonton, Sherwood Park & Fort Saskatchewan

An agency-managed care model where caregiver assignments and scheduling are coordinated by our team, available exclusively within our local operating regions.

Our agency-coordinated services are designed for families who prefer a fully managed, hands-off approach to care. Under this model, Plum Wings Family Care Co. assigns pre-screened caregivers from our trusted pool based on your needs, schedule, and preferences.

Caregivers are engaged on a shift or hourly basis and are available through the agency depending on their availability. Families do not need to handle recruitment, scheduling, or supervision, as all aspects of service delivery are managed by our team.

 
Our agency-coordinated services include:


✔ Assignment of pre-screened caregivers from our trusted pool
✔ Flexible scheduling based on your needs (daytime, overnight, or recurring)
✔ Ongoing coordination of shifts and caregiver management
✔ Backup arrangements in the event of caregiver unavailability
✔ Centralized communication for updates, concerns, and feedback
✔ Payment processing handled directly through the agency
✔ Support from our Care & Field Supervisor, including check-ins and home visits where necessary
✔ Ongoing quality assurance to ensure services meet your expectations
✔ Access to your secure client portal to book services, manage schedules, and view caregiver details upon registration

 

Service Rates

Most standard agency-coordinated services are billed at a flat rate of $25/hour.

Specialized Support Rates
  • Postpartum & Newborn Care: $26/hour
  • Babysitting: $24/hour
  • Family Assistant Services: $26/hour
  • Event Childcare Services: $50/hour per caregiver
Event Childcare Notes
  • Additional caregivers may be required depending on the number and ages of children attending
  • Rates may vary for late-night events, holidays, travel, or specialized activity support
Additional Notes
  • A minimum booking duration of 3 hours applies to all services
  • +$1/hour per additional child
  • Rates may vary for overnight care, live-in arrangements, specialized support needs, statutory holidays, or rural/out-of-town locations
  • Customized quotes may be provided based on care requirements

 

Become a Plum Wings Community Member

Families seeking ongoing access to Plum Wings services may register as Community Members with a one-time $100 lifetime registration fee.

Registered families become part of the Plum Wings Family Care Co. community and enjoy:

✔ Priority access to ongoing bookings and care coordination
✔ The ability to submit and manage bookings anytime
✔ Access to standard hourly service rates without per-booking administrative fees
✔ Eligibility for discounts for families with frequent or high-volume bookings
✔ Access to helpful community, caregiving, and family support resources through our care support team
✔ Ongoing support and coordination from the Plum Wings team
✔ Added peace of mind through ongoing supervision and physical check-ins from our Care & Field Supervisor when concerns arise
✔ Flexibility to request alternative caregiver matches to ensure the best fit for your family’s needs
✔ Flexible caregiver matching options, including trial shifts where appropriate, to support the best family-caregiver fit

Community members pay the listed hourly rates based on the service requested. Membership is designed for families who anticipate needing ongoing or repeat support throughout different stages of life.

Non-Member Bookings

Families who choose not to register may still request services; however, a $20 administrative booking fee applies to each booking request.

Rush Bookings

A $10 rush booking fee applies to service requests made less than 48 hours before the requested start time, subject to caregiver availability.
